Thanks Anne for your concern - I think we are going to have major flooding and as soon as we can get on the island my DH is leaving. The last storm that was just like this - we were there and very happy to be there. We could move things that started to float in our garage and utility room, and clean our property up right away, which was hard, hard work. The canal washes over(our home sits right at the end of the canal) so we take the brunt of it, you get a layer of "weed" that covers your ground, salt water kills most things you've planted - just everything takes a beating and years to recover. We also get other people's stuff that floats out of there yards. We really though we had lucked out this summer
I'll post tomorrow morning with news.
