Wolfgang's canned soup line
So I was at the grocery store last week, and I noticed that they carried a few varieties of Wolfgang's organic soup. Unfortunately, the price was through the ROOF!!! They wanted almost $4 dollars for a single can, that wasn't even especially large. Has anyone tried his soups, and are they really worth the price tag?

Someone gave me a couple of cans as a gag birthday gift a few years back. Lentil and chicken noodle. I love her, so of course I ate the soup. They were no better or worse than anything Campbell's puts out, but if I had to make a choice between Puck or Progresso, I'd rather have Progresso.

If you visit the frozen pizza section you will probably find the Wolfgang frozen pizzas. I haven't tried one, but the picture on the box looks good I have had the California Pizza and it isn't bad. I was going to try Wolfgang's pizza next time I need a frozen pizza (which isn't very often).

How much do those Pizza's go for anyway?
It sounds very interesting, especially the California pizza.
Also, how big are the pizza's?
I mean are they medium sized or large, or whatever else have you?

Wolfgang Puck pizzas are about 8 inches in diameter, and they sell for around 7 bucks. 5 bucks when they're on sale.
California Pizza Kitchen pizzas are the same size, and sell for around 6 bucks.
IMO, they're both garbage.

I couldn't believe it, right next to the Campbell Soup section was a big Wolfgang section for his soup. It looks like his is now just a high volume soup dispenser. Pitty.

Well, I am now quite happy I didn't end up buying that darn soup. Wolfgang Puck's name or no, that stuff just costs way too darn much!
Gonna stick with my Progresso, until I can find a soup that's truly worth a higher price-tag!

I can't say I've ever seen a soup worth more than Campbells. Its so much better to just make your own and freeze it for later. I've had a few of the Puck soups, but only because a friend got them from the Food Bank and doesn't eat fancy stuff, nor do her kids. If they got to the Food Bank I imagine alot of people aren't too interested in purchasing them at those prices.

Wait a minute, you like Campbells more than Progresso?
And also, I wouldn't call Puck's soup fancy. The can and pricetag may say otherwise, but it's no better than your average soup such as Progresso.

Went to the supermarket last night for the first time in months, and, of course, the Wolfie soups are again on sale, regularly $2.89, marked down to $2.39, for a 14.5 ounce can, and I can pretty much guarantee they'll still be there next week.
