Wine Subs
There are also de-alcoholized wines available. The
only brand that comes to mind at the moment though is
St. Regis.
I use fruit juice. Apple, cran, grape (the
'pure" juices - not fruit drinks).

hey, can you put a section on recommended types of wine to use when a recipe is vague? like if it asks for "dry white wine" then you should use x, y, or z rather than a, b, or c?

It is really hard to do that because each person has there own taste. Some like fruity, some don't.
I suggest checking out one of Andrea Immer's books, she really knows her wines and is easy to understand.

i was more looking for dry white=chardonnay, sweet white=zinfandel (and i bet i didn't put those in the right places...)
