What's Your Favorite Thing About Top Chef

My favorite is how it shows how the chefs really act and react under pressure.

If you watch the show as the season progresses, you get to see the real people under the chef's hat. It's not all scripted and set up to make them look good.

In most cooking shows, the chef is the boss. So of course the show is going to make him or her look good. Make them look like someone you would enjoy sharing a meal with. But I wonder how many of them would really make good dinner company. How many of them you would invite for a second visit.

I just love the competition aspect of it, and also how the chefs are the main focus. These chefs are the stars of the show, not some loud guy that determines if they go home or not.

Hi Bottom Chef - Welcome to the forums. Did you get to see the final last night? I thought it was a good show.
