I have never watched the show. All the yelling on the commercials was enough to scare me away!
I guess I am too much of a chicken to be on his show.

I don't watch it either. Therefore I definitely wouldn't want to be on it. For one, I know I am by no means a good enough cook to even compete on there, for another I could never go off and leave my family to do any realty show, and finally if I got yelled at and cursed at like some of those poor people do I know I'd burst into tears! We just don't talk to each other like that at my house.

"Yes Chef! yes Chef!"
Being constantly yelled at all the while trying to hold everything together and in the end getting dumped anyway? No thanks. Been there done that.

I wouldn't want to be on it either. I don't even like watching the show. The cooking skills you can learn are great, but I don't like the chef's attitude. He is just mean. My husband really enjoys the show though, so I occasionally am forced to sit through it.
