I still have a container of sauce, meatballs, and Italian sausage in the freezer. I think I will take it out to thaw and make dinner today. I was away for a few days, and when I got back, my bagged lettuce had turned into lettuce soup. YUCK!

I can't eat that bagged lettuce, it smells funny to me! I'm sure it's in my mind as so many people eat it. I have some chicken mole in the freezer that needs to be eaten, might have to change my mind! So how's today going?

I's SO sick (again) but tonight is BIL and MIL's first dinner ever (together) at our house. Oh well, the menu is simple:

Ham (bake - simple)
Baked beans (just add bacon, brown sugar and tabasco, then bake)
Big green salad with Goddess dressing (I'm hooked on TJ's!)
Foccacio (already made)
Corn on the cob (roasted in the oven, probably in their husks)

I was going to add potstickers but those are more work so ... nope

P.S. the buyers of our house are flakes (and liars) and the sale might fall through, which means we'll lose our house in Salem (but we'll meet them in court). grr

Having DD and her family here for the Labor Day weekend, we will probably throw something on the grill ... making it easy on myself. The guys can do the cooking.

Starrling, what a bummer ... I think Linda Ann from the BC board had similar problems when she was selling her home. I hope you can get it all worked out ... what a pain for you guys.
