Strawberry Smoothie

Ingredients:
  1. 8 strawberries, hulled
  2. 1/2 cup skim milk
  3. 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  4. 3 TBSP white sugar
  5. 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  6. 6 cubes ice, crushed
Instructions:
  1. In a blender combine strawberries, milk, yogurt, sugar and vanilla.
  2. Toss in the ice.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  4. Pour into glasses and serve.

This strawberry smoothie recipe is already really close to the one that I use, but I usually don't put any vanilla into mine.

What I use instead of the vanilla, is various spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg.

Thank you for the recipe though!

I never used vanilla for my smoothies, for whatever reason.

Now I know to try it!

This sounds really refreshing and filling. Vanilla does add a great flavor to almost anything you put it in, the only danger is putting in too much, if that happens it turns the taste off completely.
