Jason, I can't believe you are still home. I thought you left yesterday. I have been watching the news showing the freeways jammed packed and had hoped you had beat all that traffic out of town. Still praying for all you Texas folk and hope you don't come home to too much devastation.

Nope!
Still here, but not at home. I am at my office, but am leaving in about 30 minutes.
Going to Conroe.
Latest news here is that the current track of the storm is shifting to the east about 10 miles every 8 hours. That means that we could be out of the CATASTROPHIC zone when it hits, but as you know, these things are highly unpredictable.
After this post, you will not hear from me for a while, and I wish the best for all of you especially:
Texas Mesquite
Texas Contessa
And others in this area if I forgot you.
Take care and will talk soon, I promise...
Jason

Gosh, Jason this storm has been one stressful event. One minute it is going towards one direction only to change it course again. This storm is a real monster with winds at 175 MPH last night. I don't think you are far enough away from the storm effects in Conroe. Do take care of yourself and be safe. May God take us through this and watch over all.

Hello everyone...
Using the latest in technology, I am able to use my pda that uses my cell phone as the modem I can still communicate for the moment.
We are doing ok but in about two hours, things will change for the worse.
I will keep you all informed as I can and continued prayers from those of you that pray, are most welcome.
Jason

Hey Jason - My prayers and thoughts are with you. Did you go to Conroe? You might have been better off at your home. I think it is great you are able to communicate still. Pretty darn smart of you. This area of Texas is not going to experience much. Just extremely hot temperatures. It was 100 degrees today. It suppose to go to 104 tomorrow. And, some tropical winds. We will see what happens Tuesday as the Weatherman is predicting the tropical storm Rita is swinging around to bring rain here. Do take care and let us know you are alright.
