A world traveler with a passion for out-of-the-way places and food, Sandra Pinckney is a perfect host for Food Network's Food Finds.
From Hawaii to Vermont to New Orleans, Sandra searches out regional foods prepared the old-fashioned way. She discovers fascinating people who carry on family traditions of quality service and terrific-tasting foods. Best of all, she'll tell you how to get them yourself.
Born in California, Sandra spent her childhood traveling throughout the U.S. as the daughter of a career military officer. When her father joined the Foreign Service, the family traveled extensively abroad. Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore and Paris are just some of the places Sandra has called home.
A former local television news anchor, Sandra worked her way up the ladder starting as a weekend reporter in Baltimore. Always finding a way to bring her passion for people and their stories into her work, she's interviewed political figures, sports stars and celebrities. Her unique ability to get her subjects to reveal surprising things about themselves landed her on FOX television network's The Hidden Truth as a reporter/anchor.
Some of Sandra's favorite things include cooking, Cole Porter and a perfect creme brulee. Her dream assignment? Food Finds in Paris, London, Tuscany, Morocco . . .
