San Diego Show with College Girls
I saw the show today with the college girls in San Diego (where I live). It was pretty good and the girls were nice but did I hear right? I could have sworn I heard Tyler say that the pasta was "F-ing fantastic'. whoaaaaaaaa Did he really say that? One of the girls told him he better be careful or better watch it or something. I have never heard him say anything like that before! He said it just that way. Just using the F letter. LOL

The post below is from Cherry Blossom. For some reason when I moved it to the already started topic it made it into my post!! Eeks...I will have to ask the owner of this board how to move them correctly. So sorry!!
Lasagne Ligurian Style
The show was great! I liked the Lasagne Ligurian Style made with the garden puree, which looked delicious, as I really love vegetable dishes. The show all in all was great, Tyler in San Diego with college gals, teaching them some variations on pasta dishes, great. All I can say is I wish Tyler was around when I was in school! Tyler looked fantastic, full of energy, and fun and this is a show I have not seen, yeah!

Cherry Blossom
Cherry Blossom, I moved your post under the post I already started on this show. Let's all try not to start new topics if there is already one there for whatever you are trying to say. If anyone finds a post missing try finding it under an old topic of the same name if you find I moved it. Thanks!

I heard that too, Kathyn! I did a double take at the TV.
I couldn't belive fn let that get by.
Back on the topic of food....I thought the recipes were great but was confused by the "lasagna" that was baked. I wonder how that pasta would come out since it was baked and not surrounded by much liquid.
Seems to me it would be like a crispy chip and crack.
I think I would like the filling. It was interesting being all raw and processed smooth.

Re: San Diego Show with College Girls
Hi CookinMama, first I relistened to the show with the girls and he absolutely said " F'n awsome" LOL so I didn't imagine it. I rewound the show and listened several times. It is weird the producers left it in. The girl said 'you better watch it' after he said that. Just as a little aside to that I think he should be careful going into people's homes and using that language. Some people may be offended. I have to assume that those girls must talk like that so it made him feel at ease to speak like that too. At least I hope thats the case because he may offend someone someday in their home. Not everyone talks like that.
As to the lasagne, he did say it was crispy on the outside and soft in the inside so I don't think it is all gushy like we are used to. It sure did look yummy.

I think it is great when perfect or people who think people are perfect show that they are not always so perfect but they are just people as well. Jamie Oliver uses that term a lot and I think it's F…ing fantastic, wicked, wow people have character and personality, without that your just an empty shell.

Maybe Tyler is watching too much of the Sopranos on t.v.. He did mention in his cookbook a certain recipe that was good to make for watching the Sopranos every Sunday night. You know how they always used that word. I think it is hilarious to hear him say that given his pristine image. I like seeing that side of him.

Sonal, I never thought he was as pristine as some seem to think. LOL I think he has a very naughty side. Hey, thats ok, right? Kinda fun. Someone saw Tyler this weekend at an event and it was mentioned he has a girl friend. So either he has a new girl friend or the old one is still around and we were given a bum steer! Thats all the news I found out. Maybe the lady is on this list and will give us more info.
