In all fairness we don't get HTBW here---but I have heard you guys talk about it and it sounds like it is not that great. We don't get TU anymore and all we get of F911 is at 5:30am. I haven't watched Tyler at all in weeks!
Anyway I LOVED LOVED LOVED Tyler's Ultimate. I know it cost alot to make---but so well worth it. It was a more intimate show with gorgeous locals and amazing food.
You guys are lucky to still get there in the U.S.

I love both food 911 and Tyler's Unltimate, I particularily loved the meatball episode of Tyler's Ultimate and my favorite food 911 was the chicken fried steak episode. These shows are so entertaining I just can't believe that HTBW survived and these did not. HTBW is nothing like these two shows. I am sure it is due to the cost that they were eliminated, all the travel adds up, especially when you are flying an entire crew around the country and overseas. Oh well, I guess someone at FTV will be getting RICHER
I for one think this poll says it all though

My favorite Ultimate was the lasagna one. My favorite food 911 was probably the one's he did with his family (dad's church fundraiser etc) it's nice to see him with his loved ones.

The lasagna episode was just on last Saturday morning here, that was a really good episode too, I just wasn't real keen on the green bean lasagna, I guess I tend to stick with traditional like the lasagna like he made on one of the food 911 episodes. I also really like the food 911 where he made the fried chicken for the lady's church group, she was so funny and the food looked so good. I don't believe I've seent he one where he cooked for his dad's church group.

Those Ultimate Meatballs are so good. I made them a couple of weeks ago and everyone loves them. I loved Tyler's Ultimate because of all the places Tyler got to visit. The scenery was beautiful and it was interesting to see how people in Europe cook and the beautiful ingredients they have. I'm sure it was expensive to produce but if they dumped Sandra Lee and a couple of other shows then maybe they could afford Tyler's Ultimate. I'm sure it's costs money for Jim O'Connor and Al Roker to travel all over and Food Network has no problem with those production costs. I'm just wondering if Tyler is tired of all the traveling and really wants to be home more often and that's why he's willing to do HTBW. I know he's on the road for his book tour but I think he has more time to spend with his family then he did with all the traveling for Food 911 and Ultimate.

Suzan, you said a mouthful. I like Al Roker, ON THE MORNING NEWS! And Jim O'Connor is a litlle on the strange side, I have a tough time watching him. There are a few shows they could really eliminate but that is just my opinion. Just seem pretty obvious what the general concencus is

I think Tyler loved the Ultimate show and would still be doing it if someone was willing to foot the bill. But I believe he was tired of all the traveling for Food 911 and thats why he isn't doing that one anymore. Too much of his time for too little money. My fave is Tyler's Ultimate also. I love so many of them. Especially the Potato episode in Ireland and the chicken episode in England. But all the first season shows were wonderful.

I have a few favorite food 911 episodes, but the ones that stick out the most are the indoor barbeque show because I have never seen Tyler flirt so obviously. I got a laugh out of it. And the other one is the chicken fried steak episode because it was my favorite kind of food. And lastly, the chicken and dumpling one was pretty cool with the North Carolina lady. My favorite Ultimate show was the breakfast one and the chocolate show too.
