A friend's mom is diabetic and can't have diet pepsi. It messes with her sugar levels. She can, however, drink regular pepsi, in moderation, without affecting her levels much.
Personally, I think I'd go nuts without my pepsi. I love the stuff. It's my only weakness.

First of all, unless you are allergic to artificial sweeteners, there is nothing wrong with diet sodas. I have been drinking htem for many years, and have had no detremental effects from them. Normally I drink Diet Coke or Coke Zero, but lately I have had this strange craving for Diet Sunkist orange soda for some reason.

If you want flavor without guilt or allergic reactions, try Propel, which is made by the same people that give you Gatorade. I've been drinking Propel in the gym during my workouts since it was first marketed, mainly because, I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but water has no flavor.

It's a little late for me to be getting in on this but I hate water too!!! But I am diabetic so I drink it and gag a lot. It's like taking a dose of medicine to me. But I occasionally add a squirt of lemon juice or lime juice and it helps a little. Have been doing this for 28 yrs so I guess it's working ok.

Hugs to all from Mommalou
