Now I find it very odd that Tyler's coat is not for auction. I wonder what happened? Surely he would be one of the chefs to offer his jacket up for the auction and for charity? Very odd. Sure would like to be a fly on the wall to see whats up.

On another note, all the chef jackets on auction start at $1000 which is way beyond my budget to even start a bid on. I think they should have started them at $100 and they would probably sell and perhaps some would even go to $1000 or beyond. Alot of these chefs aren't even that well known at least to the average person to get $1000 even if it is for a good cause. The only bid on the jackets are for the Jacques Pepin jacket. All the others are blank. Well, it is still way early. Maybe there are some wealthy 'foody' people that will bid on these jackets at that price.

OK, I went to Emerils auction and asked the sellers a question on what happened to Tyler's jacket. Let's see if they answer me on this. So far, no bids on Emerils.

OK, I got an answer back from whoever did the chef for humanity auctions. They said they were still waiting for his coat to arrive and it should be there soon. I guess they will list it when it comes to them. Doesn't do me much good at 1000 tho! lol

I know what you mean. I would LOVE to have Tyler's coat, but I definitely do not have $1000 to buy it.
