No Knead Bread

Has anyone tried Mark Bittman's no knead bread recipe? I like the process and texture, but the flavor is still that of regular white bread. I'd like to have an easy recipe for artisan bread that has good flavor as well. Maybe sourdough?

I am not big on making bread, always because of the kneading-I just don't have time for the messing about. The most adventurous I get is flat breads, Indian normally.

This sounds like it might be an option-do you have a recipe you could maybe post in the recipe section?

If you're not big on kneading by hand, let your food processor or stand mixer with dough hook do all the work. Kneading is necessary for the yeast to do it's work properly in combination with the flour and produce a good 'crumb' (that is the texture of the bread). Lack of kneading causes large air pockets and a very dense hard texture, instead of light and smooth.

I have 2 loaves of rye and a loaf of cinnamon-raisin bread rising right now!
