New Forum - History of Cooking
Please be sure to check out my new forum, History of Cooking! Along with my posting interesting excerpts, articles and recipes of the early days of cookery, I invite each and every one of you to submit any questions you may have about food and food-related topics. I enjoy doing research, and will do my best to uncover the answers for us all.
These questions might include:
Why do we prepare (submit topic) the way we do today?
Where did this ingredient come from?
What is the history of this type of cooking?
How did this food become connected to this particular holiday?
Who invented this recipe?
I hope to include topics such as Foods of the Great Depression, Cooking on the Homefront, WWI and WWII, Ration-book Recipes, and other fun facts as I go along. If there is a specific item or topic you would like to see covered, please feel free to drop me a note and ask! I hope you enjoy reading and learning about the History of Cooking as much as I enjoy researching and writing about it!

Thanks Gypsy for this neat forum. Also, I like the idea we can give some questions for you to research. That is a great idea and will hear from me.
