Multitasking Guy

Al Roker is involved with a wide variety of projects. He is a weatherman for the Today Show, author of several books, and many TV shows for the Food Network... wow. As you can probably guess from my other post, I love barbeques and I started watching Al Roker because of his show "Al Roker's World Championship Barbecue". Some of the barbeques that these contestants have are amazing. I also like his show Roker on the Road because he visits real people that enjoy cooking and being around food.

For those who remember Al from a few years ago, he has lost weight. It amazes me that he can be around food and loose weight. He looks great now.

Does anybody have his book "Al Roker's Big Bad Book of Barbecue"? I would like to find out if it is worth buying.

Al Roker is simply amazing! How many people can do as many things as him, and excel at them all?

Oh yeah, and I love his BBQ show! As for his book, i'd love to buy it when I have the chance.

I bet he lost a good bit of that weight, running around in circles with all of those hobbies going on! Seriously though, I love food soooo much I can not wait until my kitchen is re-done. I will be spending alot of time in there, more than likely will need to move the laptop there too, so I can keep tabs on new recipes floating around this site.

Yes he is quite busy and gets all done, must have a lot of energy. It seems though that alot of the people in on the network are of a very diverse background and multiple projects.

Just gotta love them all

Al Roker is the man! Nothing more needs to be said. He can do it all, and quite well. Definitely would love to pick up his book.

I love Al Roker...Add me to his fan club. I've been watching him for more than 20 years. I love him as a Weatherman, Parenting Guide, Chief and Movie Critic. He truly is the essence of the "Modern Man". Go AL!

I love Al Roker too. I also love his wife, whose name escapes me. I've seen her on 60 minutes - she's wonderful!

I admire anyone who can create a career out of the things they love. He clearly loves the camera and loves to eat (lol) and now he's also living healthy, I like to hear what he has to say about wonderful finds out on the road.
