Martha bought out Emeril

Guess everyone has their price. Emeril just sold out to Martha Stewart...everything...his shows, his name, all the rights...45 million. She now owns him.

I'm not sure who I lost more respect for her or emeril. Why the heck would you sell out like that and still expect people to want to buy your stuff?

It's all about business and what you want and where you want to be, maybe he's just tired and want a change and the opportunity has provided itself.

That's too bad for Emerill. I won't watch anything Martha related. I just can't get over the fact that she's an ex con. I LOVE Emerill though. I don't know if my love for anything Emerill can outstay my animosity for Martha.

I can't blame him. Food Network cancelled his show. Their shows are trending more towards eating and half-convenience foods recipes; he's a real chef, and it seems people aren't watching as much anymore. I loved him....sigh....good for him for getting a big payday.

I'm sorry he did - and I'm going to miss him too. I think in business you have to figure out what's working and what's not then look for those opportunities where you can make the biggest impact and money. Go, Emeril!
