Make-Ahead Brunch Bake

| Ingredients: |
- 1 lb. pork sausage
- 6 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups light cream or half-and-half
- 1 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 1/3 cups French's French Fried Onions, divided

| Preparation: |
- Grease 8x12-inch baking dish
|
| Instructions: |
- Crumble sausage into large skillet.
- Cook over medium-high heat until browned; drain well.
- Stir in eggs, cream, mustard, salt, 1/2 cup cheese and 2/3 cup French Fried Onions; mix well.
- Pour into greased 8x12-inch baking dish.
- Refrigerate, covered, 8 hours or overnight.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until knife inserted into center comes out clean.
- Top with remaining 1/2 cup cheese and 2/3 cup French Fried Onions; bake, uncovered, 5 minutes or until onions are golden brown.
- Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
- Makes 6 servings.
