Love Ina
The Barefoot Contessa
Ina is wonderful to watch on television, she has much grace in the kitchen as she breezes through many recipes from all over the world without breaking a bead of perspiration, she is very comfortable in the kitchen, that is what I like about Ina.
Oh, she has a wonderful smile that makes her shine.

I agree with you Cherry Blossom
Ina's program comes on the food network at 4pm and I love this time because I'm ready to take a big break from my kitchen. One day I'm going to make her chicken stock. I've seen her do this a number of times and keep saying "make Ina's stock"....it looks so rich and tasty.
I must say I get a kick out of the men friends she has who come over with their talents of flower arranging and preparing the grill for barbecues ....then Jeff comes home for dinner LOL...she LOVES THAT MAN..you can tell they are a great couple...I wish her the best in whatever ventures she decides to do next....I think she is very goal oriented. One night they showed photos of her and her husband when she first got started in her career I believe Jeff worked for one of the government offices and she discovered she had this knack for putting on a great dinner...and being a great hostess. I hope they do the biographies of the cooks again soon. I'd like to see it again. Have a great summer Cherry Blossom nice sharing Ina with you.

Yes, Ina is truly an inspiration in the kitchen. Actually, Ina is the one who worked for the government in DC - she was a budget analyst for Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter and wrote the nuclear engery budget and policy papers on nuclear centrifuge. Her husband, Jeffrey, is an investment broker.
