Has anybody ever been at one of Jamie's book signings? I think Jamie is just as popular with the ladies as Tyler is. Seems like he gets alot of attention with his looks as well. He is a very handsome guy and still only in his twenties. If there was one thing I would fix on him, tho, it would be his teeth. They are yellow, and crooked. Yuck! Other than that, I find him quite handsome.

I went to Jamie’s booksigning last night. Boy, it was CROWDED so he had a nice turnout. He joked to us that he was glad we showed up because “you never know if anyone will show up to these things” (uh, I don’t think he has to worry about that). Before he started signing books, he spoke to the audience a little bit first, then there was some Q&A. I think Jamie mentioned that he’s working on some sort of documentary-style program on a subject similar to the movie, “Super Size Me” – but he said “it will be less angry”. Think it has to do with the foods kids eat and their weight problems, that he went to school(s) and fixed up their menus so that they would eat better. He said this will come out next year(?). Sorry, I was in the back of the crowd when he was talking so I couldn’t hear much or too clearly. Oh, Jamie’s friend, Andy the Gas Man (who has appeared on OT) was there too so I had him sign his picture in the book (on page 246). Anyway, those of us in the back got moved to some seats towards the front to wait for our turn to get on line so I was able to watch Jamie interact while he was signing the books. I have to say that Jamie is a lovely person. Not just on the outside, he’s very kind and gracious. There was a LONG line of people waiting for him to sign their books (some had 4-5 books each!), and he seemed tireless throughout the whole thing. He said hello to each person and shook hands with the guys. If there were kids waiting, his people would take them up to the front of the line per Jamie’s request. People had their cameras or cameraphones (I didn’t have either ) and they were taking pictures of him and he would pause and smile for the pictures. When it was finally my turn (2 hours later!), we spoke a little bit and I got a handshake too . He really listens to you, and his manner was not at all detached. Jamie is very sincere, and I am glad for his success because he seems to appreciate everything about it, especially his fans.
