Is It Just Me Or Does She Seem To Be A Bit Condescending?

Sara has some interesting recipes, and I like that she has the cooking with children shows.

But to me she seems some what stiff. Maybe a little to proper. It comes across as almost being condescending.

Sara Moulton

I think she is not as comfortable cooking in front of the cameras as some other of the slicker chefs - I feel she's more of a chef and less of a "TV personality."

You might be right bria. And it sounds a whole lot nicer than what I said. I'll probably enjoy watching her more when I look at it that way.

I find her just the opposite. She seems to always be apologizing for things, and constantly saying "I don't do this very well. You'll do it better" or "I'm sure yours will look more attractive".

She seems to lack a bit of confidence, but I actually feel she has one of the best cooking shows currently on television.

There just seems to be more sincerity in what she's doing, and I have taken a real liking to her style, and I like the fact she isn't as polished as some other hosts.

Like Sara appreciate her knowledge but but but

Sara was one of the first chefs on the food network I watched and really paid attention to all of her ethnic recipes, hints and interesting guests. But as time went on she was kind of left in the dust with all the other newer chefs who had such different personalities like "rock stars" with their BAMS AND YUMMOS ETC....nothing wrong with that....Sara is like the FM classical music stations compared to the ROCK stations...it depends on my mood which chef I feel like listening to or watching. So thankful there are such a variety for all of us to enjoy. You rock Sara, but just more conservatively....
