Cookware/Bakeware/Gadgets Section
Something for all the non-food parts of cooking. It would be nice to be able to dig through product recommendations and reviews before going out and buying something. It gets kind of buried in the General section at times.

Actually, that is a really great idea. I've never even seen any reviews or comments on products on this site at all. (Not that there aren't any, I just haven't come across them yet) It would be helpful to have one area we could go to check out the best and worst of kitchenware!

Good idea. There seemsto be a ton of stuff out there, or being advertised on TV, that are SUPPOSED to make life in the kitchen easy peasy. They all look so wonderful on TV, until you get home with it and try it for yourself. A "been there, done that" section here on these doodads would be just perfect.

Would be able to share experiences, too
It would be nice to see reviews by real people who really cook. That would give us a good area to ask whether we needed various gadgets/items and people could let us know if they were worth bothering with or how best to use them. Really great suggestion!

Excellent idea, so start asking! As a chef and a member of a cook's club, I have tested a lot of things over the years; some are fantastic, some are junk. Some never made it to consumer production! I'm sure there are others on this forum who would love to give their honest opinion of their gadgets!
