Cookbook Junkie

I must say that I have way too many cookbooks. Actually I don't think so but my husband does.
My favorite of all times is the More-With-Less Cookbook. It is full of whole grain healthy recipes. They are also fairly inexpensive to make so if money is tight its a good one to have.

I have many cookbooks, too! You better believe I use them all one way or another. I do try to cook at least one recipe from each book. Also, I write cookbook reviews. Maybe, you could help here and write some reviews of your cookbooks? That would be very helpful and appreciate for the many readers here. I usually add a recipe that I had tried to my reviews. You can see my reports on this forum. That way, your cookbooks are helping others.

There really is no such thing as too many. But, if it means divorce, you can find lots of recipes on line. They all have reviews too which is nice.

Oh, man, I have waaaaaay too many cookbooks! I love to cook but I also actually love to just read cookbooks! I frequently check them out of the library just to read new ones.

My favorites are....actually, used to be, the Cook's Illustrated line of cookbooks, and the books from their show on PBS, America's Test Kitchen. I still love those cookbooks and they have taught me to cook, but now I like to branch out into different cuisines, and I love to read and try recipes from famous chefs. Sometimes their recipes are way out there, but they are so interesting!

I probably have...oh......35-40 cookbooks right now. I most often reach for The Way We Cook by Sheryl Julian and Julie Riven of the Boston Globe, and The Silver Palate Cookbook, by Julee Russo and Sheila Lukins.

Oh, and I love Marion Cunningham!!!!

Foodie, you have a great recipee there, and an important ingredient in my diet is a prominent part of it. Garlic....it really helps me when I am congestion or have a sinus attack.
