Chocolate Banana Bread (TNT)

Description:
If you love chocolate and you love banana bread...you're really going to love this!!
Ingredients:
  1. 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  2. 1 cup sugar
  3. 2 egg
  4. 1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2 medium)
  5. 1/4 cup milk
  6. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  7. 2 cups all-purpose flour
  8. 1/4 cup baking cocoa
  9. 1 teaspoon baking soda
  10. 1 teaspoon salt
  11. 1/2 cup chopped nuts, optional
Instructions:
  1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add eggs, bananas, milk and vanilla.
  3. Combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; add to the banana mixture and mix just until combined.
  4. Fold in nuts if desired.
  5. Transfer to a greased 9-in. x 5-in. x 3-in. loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack.
  7. Yield: 1 loaf.

This sounds delicious! I may have to make some soon. I love making bread and am always on the lookout for new recipes. YUM!

Wow, that's a really interesting combination - chocolate and banana. Never thought of that, although I've often mused upon chocolate and raspberry or chocolate and orange......

Oh this sounds Heavenly! I absolutely love both bananas and chocolate, so I will certainly have to try this recipe sometime. Thanks for posting it!
