Budget Section
I am hit bad luck this month and am now cooking on a shoe string budget which got me thinking. How about a subforum here for budget cooking, or thrifty living? In a general rather than recipe section it could then maybe have tips on tight budgets in all the areas of our life.

we have a general cooking discussion forum that you could make a "thrifty eating" thread into. If it becomes popular we can even stick it to the top of the forum. I don't think there is enough demand for an entire subforum though but if the thread becomes very popular we'll consider a forum then

I think that is an excellent idea. We come here to talk mainly about cooking, but I think we would spend more time here if more of our human needs were discussed, especially a popular one like budgeting and finances.
