Maybe you've decided to participate in the
21-day Vegan Kickoff, maybe you are a new vegan looking for great recipes to try, or maybe you are a long time vegan feeling stuck in a rut. I've got just the list for you. As an avid searcher, reader, and tester of vegan blogs I've compiled a list of my top 10 favorite vegan blogs. With this list you'll never wonder what's for dinner (or lunch, or breakfast) again.

The Happy Herbivore: The Happy Herbivore is full of delicious, low fat or no fat vegan recipes. Lindsay, the creator of The Happy Herbivore is dedicated to creating and sharing healthy food that doesn't taste like health food. The Happy Herbivore is beautifully organized with tabs for easy browsing. Lindsay has also authored 4 e-cookbooks that are available for immediate download from her blog. Check The Happy Herbivore often for great reviews and giveaways.

Vegan Dad: The Vegan Dad blog is bursting with tasty recipes. There are so many to choose from that you may never need to create another recipe on your own again. Vegan Dad has many creative vegan remakes of some classic non-vegan dishes. And as a father of four, you can bet his recipes are kid-friendly!! For convenience there's even a Vegan Dad cookbook, with many of the great recipes from the blog available at your fingertips.

The Urban Vegan: I love the Urban Vegan because her food is always chic and elegant, but accessible. The Urban Vegan is also loaded with other great vegan info, including tips for vegan travel and restaurant reviews. Eat, Drink and Be Vegan: Eat, Drink, and Be Vegan is created by Dreena Burton, author of several popular vegan cookbooks; the blogs namesake Eat, Drink and Be Vegan, The Everyday Vegan, and Vive le Vegan. You'll love this blog for it's creative and playful vibe. You'll hear stories about Dreena's vegan family, find contests, and even get a few sneak peeks of upcoming cookbook recipes from Dreena. Dreena admittedly has a bit of a sweet tooth, so expect some delicious confections from this blog!

Vegan Yum Yum: Vegan Yum Yum will have you hooked from the moment you open it. The photography is phenomenal, the quality of the recipes superb. Vegan Yum Yum is full of recipes that will impress your non-vegan friends and family as well. Are you and iPhone or iTouch user? Vegan Yum Yum even has an application for your iPhone that is full of some her most popular recipes, along with the beautiful photography and links to the original blog post. There's also a place to compile a favorites list.

The Post Punk Kitchen: The PPK is the brainchild of popular vegan cookbook author Isa Chandra Moskowitz. The PPK is chock full of recipes, both created by Isa and members of The PPK community. The blog is irreverently funny, and the recipes are sure to please.

FatFree Vegan Kitchen: The FatFree Vegan Kitchen blog is dedicated to recipes that are virtually fat free. All of the recipes are created without using a lot of added fat and sugar. This blog is home to the recipe for Veggeroni. It's so delicious on a pizza that you'll never miss the high fat, high cholesterol, less than friendly, pepperoni. If you are a Facebook user you can also follow this blog on Facebook.

Cafe Veg News: Cafe Veg News is a deliciously famous blog run by the staffers at
VegNews magazine. On this blog they chronicle the daily lunch menu at the VegNews Headquarters. Some of the menus have clickable links to the recipes, and for those that don't they are still great to get your imagination working. Just hearing about what other people are cooking can inspire you to get in your kitchen and create a dish of your own.

Vegan Lunchbox: Vegan Lunchbox is the place to go when you are deciding what to bring to the office for lunch. It's full of wonderfully inspired ideas that are delicious and portable.
