An interesting celebrity cookbook
A number of years ago, I either bought or received this one celebrity cookbook which featured a large variety of interesting recipes.
Unfortunately I cannot recall the name or the publisher, but I am going to try describing it to you.
Stephen Tyler from Aerosmith had some recipe for a spicy peanut sauce with a banana, or something along those lines.
Bo Didley had some recipe involving eggs, and there were many others featured as well.
Next to each recipe, there was a drawing of the celebrity that submitted the recipe.
Does anyone know what i'm talking about at all?

I have no clue what you're talking about, and a web search didn't turn up much worth looking into. I would love to have a cookbook with a peanut sauce and banana recipe by Steve though. I never really thought of him being the cooking type.

If anyone could ever help me find this cook book again, I would totally love you for an eternity!
That cook book was totally one of a kind, and unlike any other cook book I ever had owned before.
Not only did the celebrities make it special, but the variety of recipes they had were excellent.
Surely, somebody must know this book?

I don't know if this Stephen Tyler is the same one. I did find another cookbook - Harmony in the Kitchen, the Musician's Cookbook: Favorite Recipes of Musical Celebrities by Maida Glancy. Could this be the book in question? I sent an e-mail off about the books contents. Awaiting word on that information. I will post it when it arrives.

That first cookbook you linked to definitely seems to be the wrong one, but this Harmony in the Kitchen book could be it.
Let me know if they ever respond to your email, but it definitely was some sort of celebrity cookbook.
Steven Tyler was only one of many celebrities that were featured the book, and he was not the author or anything from what I can remember.
Thank you again everyone.

I haven't heard anything yet. There is a possibility these musical celebs are English and not what you are looking for. I have another forum member working on this information, too! Hang in there!

Well, I definitely appreciate everyone trying so much to help me out like this.
That cook book was like nothing I had ever seen before or since, with a variety of musicians and/or celebrities contributing their own recipes.
The only 2 I could recall were Aerosmith and Bo Didley, but I think there were many others too.

Here's the e-mail response. I thought what was offered was interesting so I am posting it here.
Unfortunately HARMONY IN THE KITCHEN does not contain anything
from Steven Tyler or Bo Diddley and very little from any rockers.
On the bright side ... here are a couple of links to Bo.
On the left is a good friend of mine, Matt "Smiley" Westmoreland, Bo, Hamilton Loomis and their drummer
at Bo Diddley's place in Florida. Bo's showing off his rib smoker.
You can find a few more at http://www.hamiltonloomis.com/
Thanks for inquiring, Bert
